Lakes College West Cumbria typically offers a range of:- BTEC diplomas- Higher and Further Education Courses, Higher National diplomas. Lakes College is the only institution in the country to offer a foundation degree in Nuclear Decommissioning. This is done in association with the University of Central Lancashire. Other degree courses include Fine Art, Business Management and Applied Chemistry.
The college has a major academic learning facility known as the Learning Resource Centre. At the LRC, there is a well stocked library, over 100 networked computer workstations, 185 study spaces, and experienced staff to help you find what you need. The college has over 100 online computers available providing access to the internet. The college supplies great facilities to cater for the practicalities of the available vocational courses, with plenty of space for the students to undertake their activities.
